If this was a ASM G4 Skimmer instead I would have already bought it from you in a heartbeat. However the G5 skimmer runs up to a 700 gal tank and I'm only needing a skimmer for a 230gal. So..thinking its a little over kill. Although... what size tank you got it on?

Free bump for a good deal!

Nothing wrong with overkill. Lots of people run skimmers bigger then there tank volume.
I always go with the buy the biggest skimmer you can afford motto.

x2
I got two skimmers rated twice my tank size.
If I could, I would buy the biggest air intake skimmer on the market

Thanks for the bump.

I believe the ASM rating is very optimistic. It would have to be a very light load tank. I think that this skimmer is ideal for a system of 200 to 400 Gal.
