SW T5 Strips for FW?

Someone is interested in buying my Coralife T5 strips that I've used for SW. She would like to use them for a FW tank. Are there any issues using FW bulbs in these T5 strips?

As long as the wattage matches it shouldn't matter (HO lamps in a HO fixture or NO lamps in a NO fixture).

Yup they do. I checked the big Als site and both FW and SW strips take the 28w bulbs.

the only difference between the SW and FW varieties of this fixture is the bulbs that come in it.

FW needs 6500k color bulbs
SW usually has higher K color.
It will be ok IF there is no live FW plants just fish
