I need some advice on how to build a refugium for my current 33 gal sump set up. Here is the diagram .


Any advice is appreciate.

i'd have the skimmer as close to the overflow as possible, because the way you have it in your drawing, all the detritus,ect. will end up getting stuck in your sponges before it can reach the skimmer

Yea, I am thinking of redo my sump after reading many new design ideas. I think my sump is a very old style
