LF - Chaeto & pods (Calgary)
 

Hey Folks,

Wow, never thought I'd say it but... I need chaeto! (used to sell/give/throw out garbage bags full of it).

Preferably full of pods - I seem to have decimated my small lifeforms by going barebottom, with filter socks, and a run of UV due to a new resident getting ick... I've learned my lesson :) I liked my copepods, amphipods and other little life forms...

Let me double check on the pod population, I'm sure I have tons, but its been awhile since I really looked. As for the cheato, I have lots to share!

Anyone have any fast ideas of how to collect pods from cheato? I was thinking maybe a cup with some some prawn in it, wait for them to go for it and then cap it.

My pod population is reasonable, but its nothing fantastic.

Not sure on trying to extricate pods - usually the chaeto balls are so full of them it's just a matter of grabbing a handfull, never tried to separate them thus far...
