Vancouver and Clams...to EAT
 

I'd like to take hubby out to Vancouver for a weekend, neither one of us is very mobile.....i.e. bad back, bad ankles...so we don't want to be walking much... :lol:

I want to have a big clam eat, so where to go, and when??:mrgreen:

You can go pretty much anywhere in Vancouver and get good seafood. Where will you be staying?

If your downtown proper I would recommend Joe Fortes firstly and then Kettle of Fish. Yum!

If you have a car, then Steveston by the docks, in Richmond, lots of good seafood.

I have room at my place in Burnaby if you want to crash there.

For clams, we usually buy a few pounds from T&T or Superstore and steam them up ourselves. Very tasty & a third the price.

Even if you've got a place to stay already, let us know when you're coming down & we can get together. Maybe do a small tank tour.
