ANyone know what this coral is?
 

This is an odd coral, it inflates quite a bit but is hard... Hubby bought it and it is a mystery to us...

looks like Pectinia to me, it might develop long sweeper tentacles at night that sting nearby corals, give it a wide berth :biggrin:

Really? I have to look out for that. I just see it get puffy but did not think it was nasty...It is very pretty but my iPhone does not pick up the metallics and pearls in it. Thanks for the info have to do some reading on it now.:wink:

+1 on pectina.

I can't find info on how long the sweepers are... I have a bubble coral close to it but it seems alright but I will move it just in case...
