lok pretty good , but the expansion mod seems to have the PH/orp probe again and the power bar has it too a PH pug and then another PH/ORP plug, i wonder aif you can put anything wlse there in its place.

well I won't be rushing out and getting one but $500 bucks...

I just bought the previous model of the ACIII last fall so I'm a little choked that its suddenly obsolete. But at least from what I can see the functionality hasnt really changed. They've mostly given the unit a much needed face lift to allow it to compete with more attractive looking controllers like the Reef Keeper and Profilux.

They didn't give you an upgrade path?

The expansion box called PM1 has additional PH/ORP and I assume they are just daisy changed to the main control box for as many probes as you want. Did not see any PH/ORP probes on the DC8 box juat USB expansion ports for daisy chaining DC8's together.

Not bad for $500.00, but I wonder if it includes the software or is that extra?
