Getting Rid Of Softies

I'm trying to get rid of some of my soft corals. I have some cauliflower colt coral that I have twice now ripped off of my rocks. It grows back in the same spot and nothing was left behind from before. The rock it grows on, is of course on the bottom, so dismanteling my aquascape is out of the question. Any suggestions on how to rid this for good?

The only thing other then cooking it would be cut as much as you can then scrub with a sonic scuber. Kind of like the tooth brush but it has multi heads. I remember reading a post about someone using that to get rid of xenia.

If the area isn't too huge just spread a thin layer of reef putty over the area. Should work.

Thanks. I put a kalk paste on them and it did'nt seem to help either.

two part reef epoxy, just cover the whole spot with it.
And if you don't like that patch it's easy to remove with the screw driver few month later when you are sure that it does not grow back.
also works for apteisia
