Par meter
 

Anyone ever use a par meter, if so what would u recommend as manufacture and or specifics

the one most hobbyists use is the Apogee meter.

I know of two on the market: LiCor and Apogee.

The LiCor is lab grade and costs almost US$1,000 the last I checked. The Apogee, by all accounts, is pretty darn close to the LiCor in terms of performance and clocks in about US$250. Guess which one hobbyists use? (Darn, Vic already gave the answer away :) ).

for cost wise if these are the two choices for sure the Apogee unless someone comes with with a better brand for near the same price.
