question about base rock to live rock
 

I have 100bl of live rock from Golds, and 100bl base rock from Bulk. my 150g tank set up for about 3 months, the LR looks ok, the BR cover thick green algae, my 10 turb snails, seahare, foxface and gobies having a hard battle with the algae. For the reason I just order a carbon and GFO reactor kit.

How long it take the BR turn to RL? :question:

should I take some BL to the sum to stop the algae?:question:

i had live rock in my tank... i got some base rock in there now... has been in there for over a month and yet very little color change but there are pods and small things living in it now ... i give it couple months

It takes about a year for dry rock to become fully capable live rock.
