They are amazing photos, I know Ottawa Inverts did some time lapse photogrophy before, during and after feeding and you can actually see the change, its amazing.

We have many users now taking on the Fauna Foods as users see that they actually work.

The biggest uptake on foods are

Ultra clam
Ultra MinF
Ultra MinD
Ultra Sea Fan

People are reporting great results also with the Marine soft shrimp food, designed specifically for shrimps.

Here it is actually:

You will notice that the time lapse does not start until 2 min in.
There is a reason for this. We didnt think that gorgonia would react quite so quickly!

We have fed a great many other lines of food and it usually takes at least a few min to get a reaction from the gorg, if you get any reaction at all that is.

So we dose the food before the camera was set up and then had to scramble to get the camera setup to snap these pics.

Before we dosed the Fauna Marin Sea Fan the surface of the gorgonia was perfectly smooth and within min you could see the gorg already reacting and starting to open!

when using fauna foods do you rotate products or do you pick one and stay with it?

Aqua-Digital 03-17-2009 02:02 PM

You can blend fauna foods depending on what stock you have or if you are just wanting to specifically feed one type of animal then choose the food that is associated to that and stick with it

What is important is not mix other brands as this can raise bio loads and restrict how Fauna Foods work as they are unique in theyre nature.

What a lot of user now do is mix up a tub of various fauna foods based on what they have in the tank and feed in combination.
