best airstone for CPR Bak Pak Mod?
 

So I bought a CPR bakpak for my nano. Funny how things come full circle, this was my first skimmer when I started in the hobby. After having a Euroreef for several years its hard to watch it struggle to produce foam from the pathetic amount of bubbles it is producing :razz: So I'm going to do the lame mod I've found which involves basically making more bubbles with an airstone and airpump (woo high tech).

Anyone got any recommendations? Do they still make those coralife wooden airstones or is there something better out there? Any other mods I should look into?

I tried the airstone mod to my old Seaclone. It made lots of bubbles, but unfortunately also spilled a gallon onto the floor while I was at work. That was the end of that experiment.

Use the limewood airstones and swap them once a month or so. There are some fine pore ceramic stones out there but I've never seen one that works as good as the limewood does.
