1/4" Loc-Line

Hi,

Anybody know where to get 1/4" or 1/8" Locline parts in the Vancouver and Lower Mainland area? if not does anybody know where I can order it in Canada?

Thanks!

Try asking around at some machine shops. Lots of machines use it for coolant feeds. I know Kar sells it, I'm pretty sure Sowa and KBC tools do as well. Might not like the colours though, I've only seen purple and orange. I've looked for black and it seems to be aquarium specific.

That's some mighty tiny locline ??? I didn't know it came in sizes that small!

I saw some at princess auto, but like chris a says, it was orange

Ocean Aquatics has some in stock. Not sure what sizes. Call ahead @ 604-940-1988

Thanks guys. I want it small for a pico tank. Ocean Aquatics and JL etc. seem to only carry the 1/2 inch and bigger. I can order some up from the US but shipping is pricey so I was hoping to find a local or Canadian source. I could probably live with orange if I have to. Or I could spray it with Krylon Fusion which I understand is aquarium safe.

If you do spray it try to find the position you want it in first. The fit is pretty tight so it would probably scrape off the paint. All three of the companies I posted are Canadian (or have Canadian branches at least) and used to be cheaper than princess. That said though if you don't have a local branch and need to ship it... Princess might be cheaper. Worth a look though :).

Thanks Chris. if I do spray any parts it will likely only be the nozzles etc. that will show the most. There is a local KBC tools so I may check them out as well as Princess Auto.

for those small sizes why not look at the large flexible drinking straws.

It's an interesting idea but what I am looking at doing is to have an adjustable nozzle or two on the outflow from the pump on the back wall. Basically what you see on the nanocubes but a smaller version of it for the 2.25 gallon pico tank I'm building. Hence, the smaller loc-line. I want it to look better then a straw. Besides, I'm not sure a flexible straw would hold its position very well and would probably move a round a bit.
