Birch Stand & Canopy
 

I'm thinking of having Danny (Wai's) build me a stand and canopy out of Birch, anyone know if he does good work?, before I decide I asked him to get me some pictures cause I'm not really sure if I've ever seen one built from birch, I don't think there is much grain in birch so with just a lacquer over it I'm wondering if it would look kinda dull.

Anyone have pictures of a birch stand?

birch is a really nice wood, a tight grain, but very silvery. i would still look to see pics cuz i'm guessing its gonna cost you, but i would take birch over any softwood and probably over oak too.

I think birch would look beautiful.. if you look at my stand MY STAND
the door pannels on mine are maple but it is very simuler to birch in colour and look (grains are a little wider) if I wouldent have gotten such a deal on the doors I was going to make my own out of birch.
