Dart flow question?

I know you can dial the dart pumps down. Just wondering if it is better to do it on the outflow or intake side? I have one hooked up on a 2" intake and four 1" out. Getting way to much flow so need to back it off a bit.

I think it would be best to cut back on the output side. I think I remember reading somewhere that a little bit of backpressure on the pumps won't wear them out as bad....

Not recommended to cut down on intake size. Output is fine.

Does anyone know if you can you use a dimmer switch to dim it down or is that crazy?

I don't think thats a good idea on AC motors.
You can do that on DC though

Noooo! Dimmers are not designed for inductive applications (ie, mh ballast, electric motors, etc)
