Dog Lovers

I will be going out to Ontario to try and help a rescue group. It's a very long, sad story, that unfortunately I can't reveal as the rescue is in trouble right now because they don't own the property and we are working on that.

If you would like to send anything dog related, I will pick up and take it with me. Obviously, this excludes bags of dog food, or anything I can't lift with my back....lol...

Blankets, etc.....I try to get to the Value Village when I can, but it is in the deep south.

PM me if you want more info.

Oh if you were closer I have tons of small (5-15 lbs) doggy sweaters, I am sure I could part with a few.

Let me know the status of the rescue dogs, I am looking to rescue a min pin. :)

Recue a min pin? I think they cost around $1500 so you might be waiting quite a while! Good luck with that!

Also good luck with the rescue place, Emily. I only have cats so no doggy stuff to give away.

Unfortunately, there are always rescues of any breed. You'd be surprised sometimes how many are dumped. Read Kijiji - so depressing.

Anyway, thank you guys, I should add that the dogs are large breed and most of them are not-adoptable. These are the guys that would be put down, and are instead living out their lives with a devoted rescue organization.

I figured they would probably be large breed, but no harm in trying! It is so heartbreaking to hear about, but thankfully there are people like you to help them out. Again, I wish you were closer I would find something to give you.

I have 2 min pins, neither were rescue, but both only cost $500. There are lots of min pins to be rescued, most in the states though, because they are a relatively difficult breed to handle and train. Not really beginner's dogs! They may come in a small package but can give you a big headache. I am still keeping my eye out for a local one, preferably younger, if anyone spots one LMK.

Sorry no doggie stuff to give you. I had to get rid of it all when my Golden passed away 3 years ago, couldnt handle the memories. :( You could bring me back a new one if you want :)

She could probably try, and would probably fail. See below: Miniature Pinscher (smallest), German Pinscher, Doberman Pinscher.

The Min Pin is a terrier, not at all related to the Doberman Pinscher.
