Setting up my new 150 gallon tank....cycling question
 

My 5'X2'X2' (+ sump) tank has been newly setup for about 6 weeks now with about 150 lbs of live rock and a sump system with no adequate skimmer yet which I will buy shortly (deciding on best one for me).....it all 'looks' good right now, but some of the rock is turning dark green (the rock I got form my other tank) and has some of that hair algae evident.

The lights are T5 (6 X 48") and I only keep 2 on as they are very bright as it is.

So question: do I just let this run as is for a while longer and when would I introduce some LPS coral and mushrooms and a skimmer....
