Tunze hang on back calcium reactor

http://www.tunze.com/usa/en-gb/dept_112.html

Does anyone have opinions on this product? I've never owned a calcium reactor before so I don't know how to compare this product with others or how to evaluate it.

hi Sam,

I got this reactor from J&L and eventually returned it, never used, of course.

Several Reasons.

#1 It is not a "Hang-On Back" reactor. Rather, it's a "Hang-That-Big-
Rectangular-Box-In-Your-Tank" Reactor.

#2 The way all Tunze products are designed, they have a bracker/screw
thing that is designed primarily for European Tanks without the braces
along the top of the aquarium. I had to get an additional suction cup
for the powerhead. They do make wonderful powerheads,
nontheless.

#3 I thought the construction and quality of craftmanship was somewhat
weak for this particular product.

I ended up with a PM 422 reactor. Although not in use yet, but I am happy with the product.

Thanks Kai-Wei. That was very helpful.
