how does my stand look?

Just finished the frame of my stand and was wondering if it looked sturdy enough....I am pretty sure it is, i just need a few opinions!

Looks fine to me. Is it for a 3 foot tank? My 75g was on a similar stand. I skinned it with 1/2" plywood and it could have held a car.

yup its for a 3 foot tank...the *only* thing is, it won't rest on all 4 sides, as i wanted to be able to fit a 33gal tank underneath for a sump....will this pose a problem? I have extra wood, if it'll need more bracing.

Looks fine, I would put a piece of plywood on top though.

I don't think you'll need any aditional bracing. You could add a center brace in the front if you wanted to be extra sure, depending on how your door(s) are configured.

yah i am planning on the plywood top, thanks.

The way it sits in the pic, is that the top? If so dont you get alot of flex in the 2 longest 2x4's? You may want to turn them on their side or make sure you use wood glue when you sheet it.
