Reef Safe Paint
I was wondering if there is a paint that I could use to paint my stand pipes that would be reef safe.. I went with tinted acrylic on my overflow, but I don't think its gonna be as dark as I would like. so wanted to painted the stand pipes black to blend in with the back pane of glass, which will be black as well.

I have used kryon fusion in my tank before as many have with no problems. The only thing I found is that over time if its IN the tank, it starts to chip off.

rylon Fusion would be best for pvc, but still have my doubts of it being completely reef-safe. Personally I don't think it would stand up over time.. but I could be wrong

+1 for Krylon Fusion. Two thin coats and I let is cure a few days before sticking it in.

I can never find Krylon Fusion.. I've tried Home Depot, Rona.. Maybe Canadian Tire would have it?

Walmart usually has it.

If you use two part epoxy paint it is safe. I made a few plywood tanks out of it and it worked great. Make sure to use it outdoors with excellent ventilation.

home hardware has krylon fusion.

Are there any Home Hardware's in Calgary anymore, except for Chesney's?
