multiple wrasses?

Has anyone kept multiple wrasses in a large tank before? I like the banana wrasse, red coris wrasse and lunare wrasse.

Laurie I have kept a Leopard. banana, 6 line in a 75 gal with no effects.
if any thing if you can get like 3 banana's and 3 leopards that would be cool since they all will school with there kind.

i have never heard of any Halichoeres or Thalassoma wrasses schooling (and i doubt they would). Fairies and flashers, yes, but they are of a different genus entirely.

I assume the "banana wrasse" is a canary wrasse (Halichoeres chrysus)?

this is a 230g right? Im betting it would be fine if they are all the same size. Of the three the aggressor is the lunare, then the red coris, and the Halichoeres chrysus is a peaceful pansy; I would introduce slowly and in the opposite order. The others might pick on the banana wrasse but I wouldn't really expect it. the red coris and lunare can probably withstand any aggresion from each other, but keep a close eye, especially on the lunare.

I'm tagging along to this one to find out as well. I have a yellow wrasse and would like maybe a leopard or some of the flasher wrasses to go with it in the 120.

Yes I have and you do not want to keep any of these but, you could. They are aggressive, swim constantly and some grow to two feet long.

If you like wrasse and you like the colouring of the ones you like, there are many smaller wrasse that have similar colouring.

Take a look at www.wetwebmedia.com This site gives details on the wrasse you are looking at and also has recommendations. The site deals with fish, coral and inverts and IME their advise is great.
