New Flourescent Ballast Needed?
 

My light box contains 1 DE Hallide and 2 T5s. When doing some maintenance today I unplugged the skimmer without turning off the power bar first and both T5s went out.

I will open up the light box tonight or tommorow. My first thought is I created a power spike and shorted out the ballast.

Edit: Well after waiting 1/2 hour I turned the flourescents back on and they lit up. I learned my lesson though, turn the power bar off first!
