Hitcher? ID

Well this morning when i came downstairs to find my powerbar smoking due to water by which i am completely dumbfounded, i noticed a tiny crab. he was increadibly easy to catch and resembles a pompom but no pompoms . pattern is hard to make out and just wondering what you think this may be. i did have one of my pompoms carrying eggs over a monthe ago so i wonder if this may be a newbie that slipped to the cracks.

Cute little thing. Could something that small cause any problems?
