Wow!!!

I just picked up my coral order at Red Coral and all I can say is wow!
The new colonies are huge!

A couple of photos for you. (Trying out the new Canon XS SLR camera)
Note: each of the colonies are about the size of my hand!:shocked!:

Couldnt find a spot for that thing in your rockwork? Yes we were rather pleased with this shipment. Not sure if that last one is a monti? Might be a porite of some kind.

Hairytank 12-19-2008 05:04 AM

They will make their way up to the top of the rockwork in the next day.

You are correct Doug, it does not look much/anything like a confusa..
If anyone has an ID for the second coral it would be appreciated...

Man jdigital told me about the shipment. but i have a feeling that monti is just going to color up amazingly

Hairytank 12-19-2008 05:39 AM

The Monti looks good now, but I hope you are right and it brightens up more.
All the polyps are out so that is a good sign.

Very nice!

reefermadness 12-19-2008 02:51 PM

I believe the second one is not a monti at all but a porites.

That mille should colour up nice.... :)

fishytime 12-19-2008 03:09 PM

porites nigrescens, or porites cylydrica....methinks.

parkinsn 12-19-2008 03:17 PM

I agree, this shipment is very nice. Picked up my 3 yesterday and they are coloring up nicely in my tank and the polyps were out almost right when i put them in. Thanks Kevin and Doug.
