Ordering a Canreef Skimmer...

So I bit the bullet and I ordered a Canreef Skimmer today. Titus seems like a good guy, and answered all my questions in a timely manner... Interestingly enough, he responded when he said he would, which is a great sign.

Otherwise the price seems reasonable, and the committment to quality is there. I have to wait two freaking weeks though..

Anyways, I'll post my verdict when I get the thing up and running..

Thanks Titus..

..and to anyone else on the forum, how do I stick Corals to rocks if they aren't grabbing on right away?

There are several methods of attaching corals. They depend on whether they are hard or soft corals.

Email me off line and I will provide assistance.

Duss.

The Corals I have are currently a Toadstool Leather, and a Bubbletip Frogspawn (or something like that?) - Does that make sense?

What did they charge you for your skimmer?

Hello,

Thanks VDHD. Isn't that a Ca Reactor that you ordered?
AJ, I don't have a price set yet for the skimmers. Well, at least it's not posted on the online store yet. Why, are you looking for one?

Titus:
I'm always looking! It would be good to compare prices, though, with comparable products. Do you have a price on an in-sump model?
Thanks,
AJ

Hello AJ,

Prices are as posted on the online store. All tubings are now a full 1/4" thick cast.

The CS-2 skimmer is an in-sump model, as long as the external water level is no higher than about 2" above the skimmer box you are okay.

Yeah for everything but the Skimmer. Was curious myself, going to be needing a bad boy like the CS-2 myself soon  .
