Remember to turn off RO/DI
I knew that I should of hooked up my shutoff sooner.
Forgot to shut off my RO/DI and it is on the top floor of my house. Just a bit of paint damage. I am just clad I was home or thing could of been much worse. I better hook up that shutoff soon. On the plus side I have lots of water ready now. http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/g...ovember019.jpg http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/g...ovember021.jpg |
Done that once or twice. I like to tell my wife I'm doing my part by washing the floor!!

Ack!!

I've went through the walk on a wet carpet (amazing how fast the stomach seems to drop to your knees). Didn't do the shutoff but put a bulkhead in the container with a line directly to the floor drain for next time.

Thats a good idea that would be easy to do.
I think that I will do that. Thanks |
Been there done that :p
Good thing I keep my RO container in the furnace room beside the floor drain for safety :) |
Yup had a few overflows in the past, but now the pails are near a drain so if it overflows it just goes into a drain.

Hi Marlin65,
I've experienced a few times using the 5 gal buckets for preparing the ro water. Luckily, all my fish tanks and works were taken place in a specified corner inside the basement and the wife wouldn't notice it otherwise I goona to be in big trouble. By the way, the barrel you're using is 30 or 50 gal? I'm looking for a used food grade one, any idea where to look for one so that I can save a lot of space for storing more than 10 nos. of 5 gal buckets. Thanks! |
oh marlin...bummer....
