Storing Water in Salt Buckets
 

I am fairly new to the hobby (retuning after a stint in the early 90s) and I have read discussions about keeping extra water on hand. Is it best to just have filtered water or to go ahead and mix it with the salt. If it is mixed how long is it OK to store in old salt buckets for? Is a week anything to worry about?

A week or longer would be fine. Just remember to keep it airated so it doesnt go stagnent. yuck!
