mushroom and acan help
i just bought some acan frags and some ricordea mushrooms frags. the shrooms are one shroom and the acans one head. in some cases it looks like half. i was told that these will grow back? and speread.

- is this true?

how can i make the acans spread faster. ??

- i was told that if i take a knife and divide the scrooms into fours that they will each grow to a new mushroom. is this true????

Typically, yes acan's will regrow from small fragments like that... for quicker growth, try feeding them mysis (not PE - the small stuff like you get in the little cubes) - make sure their feeders are out; then just give each polyp a single piece of mysis.

Shrooms can be divided like that - but it's better to let them naturally spread... Doesn't take long for them to take off and go like wild fire...
