moving/removing mushrooms
 

Got some I want to spread, others spreading where I don't want.

Not having much luck getting them to move onto rubble, how can I get them to release or can they just be peeled off the rock?

I have never tried removing mushrooms off the live rock, but I was told you can’t since it will damage them, try a blade and cut into the rock a little maybe.

They will release if you position them upside down and give them alot of really high flow. eg. powerhead pointed right at them.

IME, you can just peel them off....
Never tried to reattach but I have removed tonnes of watermelon shrooms from LR in my tank and I alwasy just sort of peel them off...
as soon as you get a corner or edge off, the rest come easy....

To reattach, use the "Bridal Veil" method. Works very good and easy.

I just cut up some mushrooms about a week ago, they are starting to look good again ( or at least like little mushrooms :mrgreen: )

Not that hard to get off the rock use a razor to lift one edge and the rest will come right off.
