I just put new phoenix 14k bulbs in the units about 1m month ago.. they were 90 bucks each so thats 180 so I want 350 for both fixtures with ballast and new bulbs which you will get another 8 months on them. this is the 3rd set of phoenix bulbs and I change them every 9-10 months.

The fixtures were in my enclosed canopy about 5 inches from the water.. resulting in some rust on the fixtures.. If they are going into a canopy then they are fine if they were visable than you could sand them a little and tremclad them/.. Bottom line you will have to come take a look if you are interested... Hey Gerad the Kalk Reactor is still going strong.

good to hear.. pump still running good, I made sure I cleaned it at least every 2 months with vinegar.. I found the kalk built up on the impeller..

too bad you dont live in Calgary. it would match up to my other 2 reefstar nicely.
