Expect prices to drop dramatically when this technology becomes more popular and more products are available. I think these are still a little pricey and unproven at the moment, I'm not sure what the light spectrum looks like and exactly how much of that spectrum is utilized by coral.

I agree. Like any new technology the first buyers pay through the nose. If his comparison growth pictures are to be believed then certainly SPS grows under this light. Time will tell.

seen it at macna, looked nice and wasn't hot at all but i never really checked it out all that much
