So guys i recently picked up my new tank, to me anyways from chris (tang daddy) 24x18x16 drilled 1inch overflow and a 3/4 drill for either a closed loop or a easy water change! not sure what im gonna do yet but i figured i would post some pics since like we say thread sucks without pics

and theres no pics... haha so i will start with a equipment list.
Equipment
30gallon tank
33gallon sump
Asm g2 skimmer
stealth heater
2 koralia 3's 1 koralia 2
1 250w mh pendant (hqi)
quiet one 3000 return
mag 7 or 9 for closed loop

not sure on what else i am going to be using but thats it for now i will update as time goes on bare with me!

also i am questioning my overflow. I want the quietest i can get for my room, i was thinking either external or a small single drilled over flow in the top corner... what would you guys suggest for the best looking and effective overflow?

Im not really clear about what you have to work with.Where exactly is the current overflow box and the two holes you have? If there is room in the overflow to drill another hole, I would do a herbie style. In fact I dont think I would do a tank any other way.Silent and fail safe.
