Painting the back of your Tank
Here is a link thats a pretty interesting read in regards to painting the back of a tank. Kinda wish I didnt paint mine now...

I personally, keep my coral in the front 3/4's of my tanks anyways. Don't forget, they were only using T5's and 150W MH. I think its fair to say most people run 250W MH on most 48" tanks, I really don't think light loss is going to be something to worry about. |
True enough, but still it's interesting. You're right, probably not a huge loss in that zone.
