Hey all,
I just thought I'd introduce myself, My Name Is Brad Taylor and I own Tailored Aquatics. Tailored Aquatics primary focus is reef supplements with some freshwater as well. We are Canadian base company, On Vancouver island, BC. I have 20 years experience is the hobbie and 10 years in fish retail. Some of you may already know me from Island Pet Zone in Duncan, Hi to everyone I know. Tailored Aquatics is full line, including 14 concentrated and unique products as follows:
Calcium Plus- over 180,000 ppm calcium supplement
Dry Calcium concentrate- nearly 360,000ppm
dKH Plus and dKH Dry- highly concentrated liquid or dry KH buffer
Iodide K.I. - 500ml last a 50gallon system 96 weeks!
Magnesium M.G.- liquid Magnesium supplement
Strontium SR- nearly 20,000ppm with molybdenem
as well as,
Iron F.E. w/ Manganese
Potassium K80
Kalkwasser
Nitrate Destroyer
Phosphate Destroyer
Aiptasia Destroyer

Hey Brad! Welcome!!

Currently I'm using Tailored Aquatics supplements: Potassium, Iodide, Iron and Strontium and my tank has never looked better (yes I know that sounds cheesy but its true!).

Oh and the nitrate destroyer kicks arse! :biggrin:

i used the no-no3 stuff which looks like a similar thing and it worked well but since it would be for 300g of water id have to set up something to make it less of a pain, at least it comes in a large size so i might give it a try.

Yeah I found in my tank it took about 3 weeks before I saw results but it really laid waste to the nitrate after that. I see he's got a graph on his site now so you can see what to expect. I've never tried any other nitrate reducing products so I can't really compare but I was pretty impressed with this stuff. :biggrin:

the no-no3 worked well also but for over $20 a month i wasnt gonna keep up with it on a tank that size

This product just looks like vodka/other carbon sources in a marketed form. No offence intended.

No offense taken at all, Yes there are a few other carbon sources on the market i'm sure. Just as there a are few Calcium Products on the market but I a sure you there is no vodka in this...so NO shot for the tank and then a shot for yourself. :razz:

I also used the Nitrate Destroyer and HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!! It was amazing...now my levels are excellent whereas before they were the darkest pink you could get on the chart:redface:. Have also used several other of Brads products and they work soooo well! Big thumbs up!
