Burnaby Big Al's Frag Tank
Apparently I'm bad at fish ID'ing.
Unidentified Blenny: http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p...h/DSC_6205.jpg Unidentified Tang: http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p...h/DSC_6206.jpg |
The second one is a Chocalate Tang

Second pic is a choclate tang:)
My favorite fish in my tank. If the light hits his fins right they are blue:) |
Are the colours representative of the blenny? I was wondering if it might be a stigmata blenny but I think they tend to be more red on black. (I think.) Very nice, whatever it is.

Me too (agree that it's freakin' awesome). I've been looking for a stigmata blenny for some time, and I'm still wondering if it might be that. (Another common name is "ember" blenny). Only thing is they tend to have more red I think? Check out this picture:
http://www.personal.psu.edu/sbj4/aqu...ber-blenny.jpg Here's a link to a thread on zeovit.com : http://www.zeovit.com/forums/showthread.php?p=70615 http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a21...0fish/Max1.jpg From this thread on another board: http://www.aquariumboard.com/forums/...arine/2395.htm I'm not sure. The tail colour looks kind of right though. What do you think? Same blenny? |
It looks to be the stigmata. Must be the temperature of the lights doing funny things with the colour.
