Sorry about the link to 3Reef but all the information is there, along with a demo video

Red Sea seems to be stepping up with this new skimmer

Hey Jason-thanks for the link...it looks interesting! Love to see someone buy it and give some real feedback as it sure looks good!

Definitely be interesting to see how it does in "hobbyist trials". I liked that they had a video so you could see how all the toggles and whizjammers worked on it. It definitely looks a bit more complex than your average skimmer (and by average skimmer I mean the ones that have an inlet outlet and giant clear tube ).

Cooool. The neck cleaning system is neat-o.

I see it is available for preorder on some U.S. sites for $350. Let us know how it works!?

heh, if I had a spare $350 I might actually try it. Unfortunately my money tree in the backyard didn't bloom this year :wink:

You should frag it and you'll get more money ;)

Cheers,

I've never been very impressed with Red Seas products in the past so I'm curious to see how this gets rated once its been in the market for a while. Looks fancy though.

Interesting: Looks like a ASM g1 morphed with a Fluval 405.
