Xbox 360 on a REALLY big screen

Cineplex is renting out their theaters during slow periods for the really avid gamers. They are charging $179 for two hour sessions for groups up to 12. Story here:

Cineplex big screens available to Xbox gamers

I think it would be a blast, but not sure I would pay that much...I suppose the die-hard gamers would though.

That's quite a pricetag to have your gamin on the big screen! I wonder if you'd lose a lot of the crisp HD on that big a screen.

I doubt the PQ would be comparable to a good plasma or lcd. I think it would also add another level of difficulty to the game, trying to "see" the whole screen at once and who is about to blow you away. I have a hard enough time keeping up on my 50" plasma!

Its okay iv seen some tournaments done with it, but not worth the price tag thats for sure.. You could get 3-4 games for that price.. or some amazing coral. :)

I used to computer game and now I game on a Xbox 360, My computer screen is a 22" and my tv is a 60". I prefer to game on the smaller screen to tell the truth. To much to try and see on the big screen....

I play First Person Shooters on my 92" projector... Depending on the game, I get motion sickness...

But for sure, even with Ghost Recon, I have trouble seeing everything that's going on on the screen. But it sure makes sniper rifles much MUCH easier to use...
