some advice please :)
hey guys i was at pisces the other day and saw a die gugonian and a open brain have shrunk in. so i got a deal for like 10 bucks for the both of them. just wondering what can i do to increase the chance of survival for thes 2 corals ?i have the brain in my sand bed so it can acustom to the light and i put the gurgonian in a high flow area.

for some reason i thought gorgonians were hard to keep alive, but reading up on them now, it doesn't really look that way (although WWM doesn't know everything)... these links may be able to help you get started.

thanks i have never been to that site.any ways i havent seen any polyps on mine come out.i hope they dont die and kill my intire tank :(

ok now readying that i got more questions. ok what do you feed sps. the guy on that site says nanoplankton and zoo plankton. he also says phytoplakton doesnt work . any one have any opions on what to feed sps

i think a lot of people here don't make any attempt to feed their SPS directly at all. bob fenner is a best-care scenario kinda guy. :biggrin:
