octopus protein skimmer malfunction

hey guys my skimmer is malfunctioning the air tube is filling with water the same level as the skimmers water in the chamber. if you could post some thoughts really quick that would be great kinda need my skimmer back lol.

Have you taken it all apart and cleaned everything, including the needle wheel
