ID this crab
 

I got a good pic of this crab any one know what he is?

I have no idea but if you done want him...let me know ....I will take him for my other tank

The crab doesn't look like an evil one..... Notice his claws are flattened on the end, looks a little like a mithrix type crab.

I have only ever seen him munching coralline, he might be 1/2" if that.

thats what i was thinking, the little bulb on the end of his claws look very similar to an emerald crab.

Well I had this emerald crab that went bad once he grew up and tried to eat all the other crabs in the tank including the hermits. I did not see it try to grab any fish but I was not taking any chances so I took him back to the LFS.

This guy is very small, Iam lucky i was able to catch him the first time.

It will be a while until he is anywhere big enough to cause any problems.

don't underestimate a small crab.
they are vicious and deadly to fish even when they are 1/2 an inch.
if they are piscevores anyway.
