aging SW

After the salt has been added to water and mixed for say 12hours, can the circulation pump be turned off, or does it have to keep running? The SW may sit for 2-3 weeks before it gets used.

Keep the pumps running Marty. I even circulate my saltwater in my holding tanks

It's ok to keep for a couple weeks then? I like to make a bunch up at a time instead of fiddling with smaller bits more often. I leave the pump in.
