PC light mystery
 

Just bought 2 brand new 96W PC actinic bulbs. Yesterday one went out. Then today while messing around, the other side went out after it started glowing orange around the connector before firing. Now they both don't work! Old bulbs don't fire either. Since they are both on separate ballasts, is it possible the ballasts went one day after another on a year old fixture. Or are they crappy bulbs? Please help. Gratzie
