Actinics

Do you need actinics in a reef aquarium? I got 2 10k white lights adn one 250watt T2 light( that I can't find any actinic or spectrum lights for)!!

No you don't need actinics, they are used because some people have an aversion to the colour yellow :razz: :lol:

Would a black light with the 2 10k lights help to bring out the colors of my corals?

People have tried this, in general it doesn't work very well and I'm positive you will have better results with a true actinic.
