anenome
Hi -
Just introduced a rose bubble tip to my tank but he moved himself into a spot where you can't see him... Can you move them? |
you can but from what ive seen they just move back to where they want to be
Moving them is very risky (you risk tearing their pedal foot), unless you move the actual rock it's on. But chances are, it'll just move back to where it was.
mine moved around lots for the 1st week. they'll find a spot where they get lots of flow and light.
A trick that I use is once the anemone is in a place where I like it, I start to direct feed it with a syringe. The anemone is more likely to stay in a spot if it is getting lots of food. Don't direct feed it until it is in a spot where you want it to stay.

I had mine for a few weeks now and it continues to move around.
yea.mine moved around for the first couple of weeks then staid put for almost a year now all of a sudden its moving around again. Not sure what causes that but alot of people I no that have anemones have told me that theres do that to, so Im thinking that some types are just like that,EXPLORERS that is.
