Filter Media
 

I've been using BigAl's cut-off the big roll mechanical filter media for a few years. I believe it is the same material as used in furniture stuffing. Can't stand cleaning reuseable media so I replace it once a week.
Just wondering if anyone has found other sources or material which is safe. I'm assuming the stuff I'm using now is safe :confused:

Hey Kari.
I have used and sometime still use quilting batting in my hangon aquaclear with great results. Same stuff big als sells for 1000000000x the price :eek: Kidding..
It's the polyester quilting batting from a fabric store. not cotton.
