Need help outfitting a tank

I need a hand on what equipment I need to reef out a tank.

I can get my hands on a 130 gallon tank that is drilled and comes with a sump.

What would I need to get this sucker going?

I need help with the pumps for the sump and the protein skimmer.

Congrats on the find.

I would go with an Octopus NW 200 or Recirc 200 for the Protein Skimmer. It's nice, will do the job and fairly cheap.

For the return pump in the sump, I would go for a Mag 9 or Eheim 1262.

Then you need to deal with cirulation. I am a big fan of closed loops, but a few Koralia 4 Water Pump (1200 GPH each) would give you 30 times turn over would be fairly cheap.

What are the dimensions of the tank? Octopus, euro-reef and ASM are all good mid-range skimmers. Your return pump selection will depend on a few things. If your gonna reef it out of course you will need some decent lighting. If its softies that you want than power compact will do, but if you want to do LPS or SPS then you will need to go either HOT5s or MH. Then there is the other big ticket item. Live rock, with a general guideline of 1-1.5lbs per gallon.

Yeah I finally seen a pic of the tank. It's a flat panel. To bad it's not what I was looking for. Anyways after I got over the hype I came to my scenses and realized I would be spending over a grand on rock alone (ouch).

I am looking for something easier on my pocket book. A 50 to 60 gallon was what I want. Also my wife would shoot me if I dropped all that money in the 130G.
