Aquired 3 New Frags
 

Just picked up pulsing xenia, greem mushroom and a very small piece of sun coral. Was just doing a bit of reading on them but any ideas on placement, lighting and feeding? I have a 20 gallon with a Coralife compact flourescent 50/50 hood.

From the little reading I've done on sun coral they don't require lots of light or a really strong current (you have to hand feed each polyp anyway). Good luck with the sun coral, I can't wait to get one for my tank.

The guy at the store threw the sun in for free when I bought the other two. I was reading about the hand feeding, doesn't sound too complicated.

No, it doesn't seem to be that hard. It just has to be done. It sure is a beautiful coral, no doubt about that, and free is very nice :biggrin:

I've had sun corals a few times but found once the novelty wears off target feeding is a pain so I no longer keep them.
