Duncanopsammia axifuga Does anyone have one of these? Can you tell me how often you're feeding it, what and how. I find that I am getting red slime algae growing on the sand below this coral and I'm pretty sure that it must be due to overfeeding it. |

I feed mine mysis every odd day and the rest of the time reef roids or coral frenzy (By targe feeding) Mine sits on the rock not in the sand. |

I don't target feed mine because they are quite capable of catching their own food and they are placed where the flow sends most of the food whizing past them http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...duncans015.jpg and in case anyone thinks they are starved, they have grown from 5 heads to 7 in the last month |

lots twice a day. They're staying healthy since but it's not helping the tank along with all the other overfeeding that's going on in that system. |
