Help My Anenome!!
Has anybody ever had their anenome lose all but 2 of its tentacles? My maroon clown still loves to host it, but it seems very unhappy. Not sure what is wrong with it, or what to do. My other 3 anenome's are happy and fine. Take a look at the pics.

Do you feed it? And if so what are you feeding it?
It looks sooooo hungry:( Also what kind of light do you have? And maroons are notorious for "loveing" there nems to death... So he/she is probably not helping the situation. If you have a small basket or something that you can place over the nem it may recover on its own without the fish harrassing it to death. But the general rule for maroons is for the nem to be 2-3 times bigger than the fish. |
help
yes i feed all of them brine shrimp and silver side minnows .all the others healthy but this one it is a clone off orig and orig doing good. 2 metal halide 250 watt and 72 in t5s with a 8 bulbs atinic and 10 ks no problem with lighting

hmmmm then i would say it was the loving of the clown. Is it significantly bigger than the nem?
And if so can you some how block the nem off from the clown. We had a maroon that eventually killed a beautiful Bubbletip. Just loved it a little to much i think. They are so rough compared to the percs we have now. |
nem
will give it a try got nothing to lose
