Now that's a reef tank!!

I know a little over a year ago I posted a thread about this tank in Thailand and I thought it looked great then. Now it's had a chance to grow and colour up it is really something. He has a great selection of corals and awesome fish. http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...iner02/bow.gifTanks like this remind me how far I still have to go before achieving what I really want. It's the TOTM on RC for May. Here's the link.

Amazing tank.

Greg,

Do you still have the links as to what it looked like a year ago?

Delphinus 05-09-2008 09:27 PM

No offense, but it takes a very discerning eye to truly notice the difference between then and now. :p To the rest of us mere mortals, this guy had a stupid ridiculous nice SPS tank in January 2007 and in May 2008 it's still a stupid ridiculous nice SPS tank. I imagine it's sort of like the difference between having one million dollars and two million dollars. I'll likely never know what that feels like, and I'll likely never know what it feels like to have a tank that nice. :)

Here's a link to his thread that goes back that far. It's a long read, but there's TONNES of eye candy so it's a good read.

I like his fishes - probably costed more than all my livestock combined.

Yeah I know, I saw the Gem Tang and drooled...after that I didn't want to look anymore....too depressing:lol:

SeaHorse_Fanatic 05-09-2008 10:04 PM

Yeah, both a black & gem tang, not to mention all the other expensive, rare fish in that tank.

Was reading the article the other day and thinking maybe I'll do better with different lights (he's using 6x400W).
